When asked about from where I draw my inspiration, I often respond, "do you have time for some stories?" As a third generation jeweler, I have been exposed to all aspects of the jewelry industry, but more importantly, all kinds of people. And people come with stories! I recall being surprised by the memories shared when customers brought in their repairs to our family business. Each piece marked a special occasion and even the re-telling was a way to celebrate it all over again. This realization shaped my perception of my role - I wasn't just repairing jewelry, I was preserving memories, a much more meaningful endeavor.

Fast forward 30 years of owning a retail store, working with top designers, and learning along the way, I am now ready to share my passion.  I'm inspired to make elegant, thoughtfully-designed jewelry that feels modern, yet holds the grace of a different era.

Materials & Process

I'm a bit of time traveler when it comes to designing in that I pair modern technology with old world craftmanship. The process begins using CAD technology, which allows me to push the limits of design and make a lot of new mistakes before arriving at a concept or design that I am happy with. Once I have a prototype, I leave the modern era and work with a talented and experienced team of craftspeople who value time-tested goldsmithing techniques to bring each piece to life. For it's rich color, luxurious feel, and durability, I have chosen to work primarily in 18K gold. And since I deeply care about our planet, recycled metals are used almost exclusively.
